Timey-Wimey... Stuff.

Sometimes it makes no sense, but it happens for a reason.

I am Jay. I love nature, magic, astronomy, animals, science, history, fantasy and trees. I'm a very nerdy, geeky person with a vast interest in physics & astronomy; I currently own two telescopes (10" Dobsonian and a 5" reflector). I'm an avid reader; my favourite genres are fantasy, sci-fi and horror. Some favourites include Lord of the Rings, The Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy and most Stephen King. I also love Doctor Who, The Big Bang Theory, Star Trek, Futurama and many other TV shows. I spend a lot of time reading, writing and walking. I love cats! And most other animals really. I have 3 cats at the moment: Frodo, Whiskey and Matilda. I'm one of the shyest people in existence but I open myself up quite a lot online. I don't much care for reality, but I'm trying to change that. I wouldn't say I was a good person, but I am accepting of everyone.

Life has been crazy so far. It's been stupid and irrational and a lot of stuff has happened that I wish hadn't. But I think maybe it's all part of life, and that one day things will be a lot better. This blog is a kind of insight into my mind. It doesn't have a theme, it's just stuff I like. I'm starting to realise how incredible the universe is and my aim in life is to understand it to the best of my ability (hence why I want to study Physics at University).

I've cycled through a number of different identities to try and define who I am, but I've sort of settled on "queer" and "genderqueer" as it's all encompassing.
